  1. in a large pot or skillet, cook the onion and green pepper until tender but not brown.
  2. mix the ketchup, brown sugar, mustard, worcestershire sauce, and salt in the skillet. add ¼ cup of water if the sauce is too thick.
  3. score the hotdogs diagonally (make diagonal cuts on the side of the hotdogs near the top, middle, and bottom) and add them to the skillet.
  4. roll the hotdogs around to coat them with the sauce. cover and simmer for about 8 minutes or until heated through.
  5. serves 4.
